Details: Robert Mackay, in service to John Laurio Platt appeared before the Bench to lodge a complaint against his master for compelling him to work on the Sabbath day, using threatening language to him and not allowing him necessary time for his meals. On due investigation, and on complainants own shewing, the complaint is dismissed as frivolous and vexatious, and complainant is sentenced to receive 12 lashes on the breech for bringing false charges against his master
